Half arrived

Yup, that's what I say to where I am now. I am in the small city of Brandon. It is a short lay over to my next and final stop, Winnipeg. I am here as my boyfriend finishes up his final bits of school stuffs. So I spend my days loitering in the Brandon University with not much to do but read and visit (trying to take as little time as possible) with my wonderfull love. At this very moment he works at a computer near by (across the room) on his final paper of this simester. I shall head off shortly after this entry to read the manual for my car in hopes of understanding but fearing only the appearance of looking car smart. My head lamps seem to be failling me, slowly worsening as the days go by. I will drive a short while with my lights on low only for them to flicker and die. I will then switch them over to high beams and they will serve me till the end of my drive. This I am sure is not at all impressive to those driving towards me. This I know to be fact for the semis more than not will flash me to lower my beams. I then flash them back with the only options I have, High beam or no beam. I always wonder what it would feel like to have some one shut off their lights to prove to me in the black of night that these are all they have for lights.

Oh joy for the falling apartness of a car that gets one to bed and form there, back to their love. Ah adventurs indeed.
